Looks like a Spadefoot. But, they would be on the ground,(live underground, show up after big rain) and I cant picture a "window well" It doesnt have toe pads for climbing, so i'm going with Spadefoot toad if your in that species range. Down here in N Fl. I moved 30 miles south and discovered my new place is full of Cuban treefrogs! (the only frog call I dont like, and dont scratch your eyes after touching, it feels like FIRE) I'm hope'in their not eating the "greens". Did you get any new tropical plants lately? Vic.........pic...let me know if you find these in the window well!
