>>I had my mice in the bottom of my rat rack hoping they would breed. Well i was told that since they are so close to the rats they probably wont. Ok. I moved them to another side of the room and a seperate cage... but still nothing!! WTF?!

That they won't breed near rats is nonesense....so how long have they been together and how old are they? Mice take a month or so to set up shop. Most first timers give up before they have had time to get going. That or you have set up a bunch of big old mice that will not do well if ever. Get some young.....say 7 week old mice. Get only one boy (so they think of breeding and not killing each other) and set them up and leave them alone. Every time you add or subtract from the group you delay them breeding. So unless you have waited more than a month....give them time.
