She pretty much hit the mark on the numbers. First time females at the 12 foot size typically have 15 to 20 live young and a few slugs as a first litter. Curious to note that no slugs were produced, but as you stated, she easily could have eaten them beforehand. Definitely would follow the pattern, as I've never seen a post-parturition female not go for the slugs first thing. I think in the wild they want to get to them before anything else does. The neonates look very good, nice body weight and color. I collect a lot of data on captive produced litters, and so may be bugging you for some info. Again, great work.
