I bought this turtle at a Miami flea market for two reasons. One, he was very cute and two, he was cheap. I really like this turtle. His name is Simba because of a blotch on his plastron that looked like Simba the lion's face, but I have no idea what he is. He was a hatchling and now he is a juvenile. Another problem is that as he has grown, his identification marks have disappeared. He is a very dark color now with a light plastron and some pale stripes on his head and legs.

Please help me solve this mystery that I have in my possession. I haven't figured out how to post pictures, but I will include my myspace page so you can see many pictures of Simba. Thank you for your time.

Click on pictures and then the album titled mysterious turtles. You may comment and be my friend if you wish.
