I have been keeping them inside under a mercury vapor lamp with 12 to 14 hours light per day. I have recently aquired a rehomed mali uromastix (housed seperatly) . They eat so much better than this guy, you would think they were the captive borns instead of him.My main problem now is that they are so active that their cage is getting to small for them. They are constantly running around and rubbing their noses on the screen lid of their maccourt super tub. I am finally seperating the male and female today each into their own tub. I am looking for bigger plastic tubs or water troughs that I can make or buy a screen lid for but searches tubs that are higher but with the same surface area have so far proved fruitless.Anybody know any sources for larger tubs? I prefer black plastic so they can be put outside if possible and longer lasting than clear plastic. Also glasscages.com makes lids foe the supertubs (2 foot by 3 foot). They are kind of pricey ($35-$50) but not as much as if they are custom made.Anyone know someone who makes large screen lids priced cheaper than that?
