Yeah, in Europe they're quite popular. I imagine even if there weren't customs issues it would cost a fortume to get them overseas, though. I did recently get a big batch of grain-fed CB houseflies from Grubco. After the first day, though, only Lupe and Chica were really going for them, and after maybe the third day it was pretty much all Chica. Chica is a SMART hunter, I'll give her that. She figured out that she wasn't fast enough to actually chase them down in cage that size, but she can watch them completely calmly and then move like lightning during the one split second that they do something stupid anywhere close to her. But unfortunately, while she's being all Zen about it, I do still have to change water, scoop turds, feed the others stuff that THEY want, and that means flies keep on getting out of the cage. Might have been more worth doing when the babies were smaller, but right now it takes a lot of flies to satisfy anybody, and they generally would all rather eat something bigger. Or if not bigger, slower. ----- 0.1 2006 Western Hognose (Bebe) 0.1 age unknown Cane Toad (Hengo) 0.1 2005 White-Banded Sheen Skink (Minerva) 1.0 2006 Northern Diamondback Terrapin (Queequeg) 1.0 2006 Madagascan Speckled "Hognose" (Sigmund) 1.0 2008 Bullsnake (Winkle) 1.2 2008 Eastern Collared Lizards (Pancho, Lupe, and Chica) 2.0 2009 Eastern Collared Lizards (Cesar and Nino)
