One thing you can do to check to see if she is gravid is use a temp gun and measure her body temp. IF she measures 88 degrees near where the babies would be (back 1/3 approx.) then she is gravid. If she is only somewhere between 82-85 she most likely would not be gravid. Make sure she has a heat pad underneath her tank so she can absorb the heat through her belly. I would not use a heat lamp only, If you use a heat lamp or light to help keep the hot side of the tank at about 92-93 that would be okay but I would recommend using a under tank heat pad of some kind.
