What I did, besides rearranging the lights and basking spots and upping a few wattages, was to take off the caves for a few hours at mid-day. (I work a lot of split-shifts.) So they'd wake up, bask, start to settle back into he cave around 1-2, and I'd lift the cave off to get more light onto them, which would lead to another session of basking and eating. They're still ending up back in the caves earlier than they were before, but I think they'll be okay. The babies haven't seemed to care. I'm not sure if that's because the adults have a window view, so they're seeing the outside get dark sooner. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
