Mine all have voracious feeding responses. I keep them seperate for this reason and one other. I once put a group of aspera together and witnessed a large female attempting to wrap and eat another. I have heard of cannibalism in Candoia, so I do not chance it anymore.

Aside from the anecdote, have you quarantined the new animal for any length of time? I would seperate and monitor the new one for at least a minimum of 3 months.
