Hey all,
I've got a young ATB and I'm going to be getting him a new enclosure.
I'm going to be upgrading to a Zoo-Med Naturalistic terrarium. dimensions:18"x18"x18".
my question is, what is the best way to heat this terrarium? The ambient temp in my apartment is 73F. I'm thinking about using a UTH as part of the heat source and a daylight bulb in a dome reflector for the other heat source. If I do this, should I mount the UTH on the bottom or on the side of the terrarium? Also, what size UTH should I get in order to obtain the proper temp in the cage?
I'm looking for a temp range of 80-84 during the day and 78ish at night.
Any info would be much appreciated!
Thanks, Erik R. (EchoRomeo)
