As for meats, I offered pinkies then moved up to fuzzies, weanlings, etc as quickly as possible. Then I added quail chicks. I also fed chicken gizzards, hearts, liver, chopped chicken chunks, fish fillet, ground turkey, and lean ground beef.



Since I had an adult tegu at the same time, I offered the same kinds of fruit. I offered them from the beginning, but I guess it wasn't until a month or two that she began to eat them regularly. She has enjoyed cherries, grapes, banana, berries of any kind, melon, papaya, mango, peaches. Each is different. I have one that likes honeydew, one that likes cantaloupe, one that likes anything. They aren't too keen on veggies, but sometimes I hide a tad in their ground turkey meatballs.
