Question to green breeders,
Do females go through hormonal changes that would make a normally calm female defensive? My female is normally very calm (except during feeding), I put the male in with her for a couple of weeks and then removed him when the male and female both went into shed. A couple of days later, pryor to going into the blue she became very defensive. Is this normal, is it a good sign? I am planning on putting the male back in with her once she sheds. Is that a bad idea?
Thanks for any advice.
Joe
