WHat I do with my trigonatus and dwarf crocodile is restrain them with both of my arms, and then place the animal on the ground, restraining the body with my legs (almost like sitting on them) while holding the neck with both hands and then slide one hand along the caimans head and mouth and at the same time, holding the jaw closed. Then, with your other hand, tape the mouth. I prefer having a second person with me to do this though. It's nice to be able to restrain the animal and have a second person tape the mouth, just obviously make sure you have a good grip!
