Two days later I get a call from a neighbor that there is a turtle in her basement window well that can't get out. I head over thinking it’s probably another painted turtle as we live a few blocks away from the Cuyahoga River in northeast Ohio. I was shocked to find a female box turtle down in that window well. She must have been there a while as her front nails where wore down to about an eighth of an inch. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
