Hi, maybe I can get some insight on this. I have 2 calico C.B. babies.(thought to be male and female) Both are eating good, even eating from my hand. BUT the one has just started head bobbing to the other and sometimes chasing "her" away from the basking spot or food.
The wierd thing is this......when I peak into the room, they seem to be fine, they are basking together, eating ect... But if I enter the room he will do these things. And it was only today. He was the one I was worried about because he wasnt as fat as the other. But he pigged out the last couple days and is now a ballon like the other.
They are only 2 months old,so I dont think it could be a sexual thing........I bought them from deer fern ,and doug has told me he has never seen his chucks fighting and he has multiple per enclosure. Should I just monitor the situation, make sure both are eating basking ect? does it have something to do with me being in the room, and just maybe hes taking it out on her..? any ideas or help is greatly appreciated. -Mike
