You can feed every 7-10 days for juveniles, but for some it will be too much and they won't feed on that schedule for you. They have a little slower metabolism than common boas, it seems. I like to feed after they've passed the last meal. Sometimes they'll switch over to rats easily, other times it's crazy how much they'll refuse rats, even as size dictates they "should". I keep my Dumerils on newspaper, but you can use appropriate beddings if you like. They will bury themselves, but mine just go under the paper if they want to hide vs. going under shavings. You're probably looking at 3 yrs to adult on males and more like 4 on your females. Adult size is pretty variable, anywhere from 4'-7' on average most are probably closer to 5 1/2'.
