This is a perfect answer to the post below. I think hybrids are getting to the point where people are asking can we do it instead of should we do it or even why are we doing it. Other then saying i was the first to do it what would be the point of a ball corn cross? And how would this be the "ultimate hybrid" if you just want to try and breed two animals with nothing in common why not breed a pygmy rattlesnake with a retic that whould be the "ultimate hybrid" or a coral snake with a green anaconda or for that matter why not get a pig and an elephant drunk and see if you get a hybrid there(stupid southpark reference i know but the point is the same.) Now don't take this as an all out attack against hybrids some of them are beautiful snakes and as long as the seller is honest and the buyer knows what they are getting i don't really have a problem. But much like colour morphs it seems like everyone just wants to be the first to do something or have the only one of something. Whats wrong with just having a reptile that looks the way its suposed to with out being het or hypo for something or 25% this or that?
