Hi,
I spend most of my time on here browsing posts but need some expert advise.
I fed my female blood a rat 1 week ago. the morning after she ate (i went to bed mid way through her swallowing) i noticed that it looks like her jaw has slipped to the left, resulting in her right jaw being under the roof of her mouth and the left side sticking out to the left. this also means that her breathing hole (sorry dont know the correct term!) is permanently out of her mout, hanging to the left. she doesnt seem to be in any pain and has just gone to blue, so i dont think she will try to eat again.
Ive waited a week to see if she re-alines but hasnt/cant. Ive read lesewhere to see how she goes after a feed. any thoughts??
the jaw bone on the right does seem to have a kink but I cannot rule out that it is just dilocated and not broken without xray. before i spend lots of money on xrays i just want to run it by you all.
thanks for reading, sorry its a bit long n no pics........... ----- AndyD
