Yes, They are compatible if they have enough room to get away from each other and the sizes are right, but do not trust a rare or expensive turtle as things do happen. This turtle lived for three years with four 6/7 footer alligators and one day she was gone. Completely gone! Also remember that bigger turtles eat little gators, especially tails and toes.
