I am considering getting a couple of sub adult imports. What should be my first step? If they have parasites could they spread to my other animals just by being in the same room or quarantining them to thier own enclosures enough? I am guessing external parasites could travel to the other cages but should i be worried about internal ones? Approx how much does a vet charge for a parasite removal treatment and does one visit usually enough to kill the parasites?
Thanks
