Ive tried it but wasn't a fan. For starters even tho it is labeled for use in a 10 gallon tank, you need way more than the 10 lb bag to make any real good landscapes. It also takes a long time to dry and stays moist for a day or so.

Secondly you need a lot of patience for cleanup. The sand cemented itself to the tank and I needed to flood the thing until it was mud and find somewhere to dump the slurry.

The gecko seemed happy on it until it was time for cleaning. She couldn't understand what on earth was taking Mommy so long or what she was swearing about.
