I'm a frequenter of Craigslist, possibly an addict. Well towards the end of July I found an ad for a 3 year old iguana with set-up for $20. The guy sent me pictures of a very happy healthy looking iguana. I said i would take him. I go to get him he is barely moving, cold as can be (left in the basement with no lights) and was in a 55 gallon aquarium on moist cedar shavings. He had a skin problem above his left eye and had belly rot from laying in the wet shavings for ever. I couldn't leave him there so i paid the $20 and shipped him home. I got him set up with some heat and light, etc. He healed up the eye sore and the belly problem. He has had problems shedding, but nothing to serious. He is missing some toe nails and spikes. He has been very eager to eat and has really calmed down in the months we have had him. He currently doesn't live with me and my boyfriend (who is taking care of him) informed me today that he has bumps on him. I wasn't quite sure what he meant so i came and checked it out. He has a bump looks like an abscess between his front shoulder blades along the spikes. It's a hard bump and hasn't abscessed or anything. He also has an enlarged area on his front right foot on a toe joint. He is free roaming when we are home, otherwise he is put in a screened 4ft by 2ft cage during the day when we are at work. They are sensitive to the touch. I'm not sure what these are or what to do for him. He has many problems and i wondered for a long time if he was going to make it, now these popped up and he has decreased eating. Any ideas? P.S. sorry for the long post
