My spectacled camain is between 2 feet long. He is healthy and a nice thick tail. He eats pretty good about one small rat or two adult mice every other day. He is really shy though he wont eat off tongs, I have to put the mice one a floating platform and let it float and he will eat it when the lights go out and no one is around. He is in a five foot round pond dropped into a platform with a shelf over half for basking. My question is he keeps losing his teeth. He was doing better for awhile and getting some bigger teeth then today I did a spot check on him and he has like 4 small teeth easily seen. Is he biting stuff in the cage like the filter pipes or what knocking his teeth out? His mouth looks healthy like no problems. Any ideas?
