I picked up the Reptiles Mag today and noticed it had an article on sent in snakes. I didn't get to read it yet but wanted to say here that yes, the incense, perfum, laundry soap etc. all have effects on our snakes. They rely on smell the way we see. I don't use 'outside' sents if I plan a day with my indigos. I notice also they tend to go off feed for a time when the house smells of different meats cooking. I speak to my indigo close to his face and believe he smells my breath the way a dog might. It may help them recognize us. S.
