As a keeper of burms and anacondas it may surprise you but i couldnt agree more. it is the breeders AND the keepers of these animals that have brought this on us. we can blame stupid politics and sensationalized media all day but in the end it comes down to what we have done to ourselves. i do totally agree that this law is beyond retarded and wont solve anything however if we dodge this bullet i hope that it will be a lesson for all breeders and keepers to learn from. unfortunately most people that will learn their lesson wont be the people that come on this site who have had snakes for many years. the people that need to read this are the ones who come on here and ask "hey i just bought an anaconda and was wondering what temp i should keep his cage and is a 10gallon tank good enough for the first year". those are the ones that have gotten us where we are today. anyway just my thoughts. doesnt mean much.
