After having problems with the flourescent strip lights (getting too hot, going out too regularly, being too bright for snakes, etc), I decided to head to Home Depot to see if I can find a better option and decided to try these LEDs. They are not even close to heating up like the large flourescents, and they seem better quality so the plastic should not melt off the skrews either.

The downfall is they don't show the snakes off quite as much, but I am thinking of installing one or two extra lights that are hooked up to the switch in the room to brighten things up when people come to check things out, and the snakes don't have to deal with the rediculously bright light all the time. The cool thing is they are small enough to where I have way more options for things like this.
