I recently noticed on my Mali Uromastyx, Rex, who is 6 years old, that both of his front feet are swollen. The foot part (not the appendages) is what is swollen. It is the strangest thing. Has anyone encountered this before?
I was thinking he maybe broke an appendage thrashing around in his hide box as he sometimes does...
His diet is the same as always, he is very healthy and active.
His diet includes endive, escarole, greens, hibiscus, bok choy, dandelions (when available), etc.
I use a 100W basking bulb and 1 florescent UVA/UVB bulb in a 50 gallon terrarium with hide box with tunnel. Substrate is millet.
Thanks for your help!
