Thank you very much this was a lot of help and helped me decide not to get an albino.

I have a pond in yard (Miami)with some 1 yr old map turtles and was interested in an albino RES . RES are illegal here bnut not the color morphs .

They eat turtle pellets and pond has rosy red minnows and mosquito fish . I had planned to buy a small not baby albino RES but now will skip it as a pond isnt good for blind turtle.
