HAs anyone used guinea pigs as feeders? I know they have a higher body fat content than rats and that's what made me wonder if they would be good to use a a feeder for breeding females? Or use as a replacement for rats, just fed less often (ie one similar size guinea pig every 3 weeks instead of two). Cost is the same, and if I could get more feed for my money without doing harm, why not? Also, do snakes really accept them, or can it be tough to convert to g. pigs?
