Posted by: sorazme at Sat Dec 26 18:53:23 2009 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by sorazme ] I'm thinking of getting a sub-adult blue tongued skink that has been fed only crickets most of its life and i want it to be in a healthier environment with a correct omnivore diet. I need any advice on the care of this species like no UV or yes UV light. And the best meat to include in its diet like crickets or superworms. Also is kale, collard greens, and banana a good veggie diet? I plan on keeping it in a 40 gallon breeder tank. And what type of bedding is best? Also they have no idea what locality it is. I'm experienced in herp keeping and i know i can provide what is neccesary to keep it healthy but i need help to get my bearings straight. So thanks for any help.
