Thanks Jeff

I of course, will not be quitting snakes... ever! I do still have my flame and She is doing quite well. She's a slow grower and it kinda sucks because she's picky with food but she's easily tripled in size since I found her so we are making progress there. I hope to acquire a male with orange/red coloration from the same farm for a locality specific flame line. Breeding her into any other type of flame, or even to another locality of eastern would just destroy her unique look. I am confident that there's not another flame out there like her... with the blue/green back and the POPPING RED sides. She's getting some color on her cheeks... just a tad but it's there where it was not before. This past summer was terrible, we only saw 6 snakes... it was cold, and rainy while we were there. I think i can safely slate her for NEXT season... she's still a bit small for this one and I won't breed her to anything but a potter county male anyway. I was very VERY distraught over losing my hypo though... In fact for the past few days I simply stepped away from the computer and the snakes and just took a little mental break. I just picked up a brand new full size fridge for hibernation. I also just received my Xmas gift which was an 09 male albino FL banded water snake... Thing is smokingggg!
