is that just the hot side of the tank? If its the entire cage, then the temperatures are way too hot. BRB's tend to like ambient temps around 75F with a hot spot of about 85-90F.
I also suggest posting this in the rainbow boa forum, far more likely to get good feedback there, than the feeder forum which is more geared towards the raising and breeding of feeder rodents and insects to be used as food.
A single regurg normally isn't an issue, however if your temps are too cold or too hot, that certainly can cause regurgitation and should be addressed immediately. If the rat you fed your boa left a very large bulge in her, then definitely too large prey item, though I have fed larger than typical rats to my BRB's without any ill effects though I don't do it often, maybe once or twice a year (typically retired breeder rats which my adult ball python won't eat first). I tend to feed small to medium rats to my adult BRB's normally, about once every 10-15 days. ----- PHLdyPayne
