Hey Sean, I don't think I would consider it, I understand your pondering or wondering about it, since it is said to kind of help ward of infections.

** There has been much discussion and many warnings as far as NOT using garlic or onions for that matter , with dogs and cats.
Some say they used it and their dogs were fine, others say garlic " IN LARGER QUANITIES" is toxic and it is better NOT to use it at all.

***Garlic can cause damage to the blood cells of animals, which in turn may cause anemia, ranging in seriousness from mild to very serious, where the blood cells may burst, leading to death.

With these kinds of reports I agree I woudl rather not chance it,
