I have Texas Alligator Lizards and this will be the first year I have kept them through the winter. They look they are hibernating. They stay in or close to their hide, refuse food, and are very slow. The cage temp is 55 degrees and there are two in a 20 gallon long setup. Water is always kept in a low rock bowl.

My question is: how long can they be kept in these conditions and remain healthy?
