Posted by: ECO at Fri Jan 22 08:22:04 2010 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by ECO ] Ok, one of the snakes in my collection, a black kingsnake, has been..."restless" going on 3 weeks now. He constantly moves around his cage as if searching for something. He will not eat, and he is usually a very good feeder. His cage is a "double" setup... a 6' x 2' cage divided into 2 3' x 2' cages...the other side has a california kingsnake. They can not see each other, as the divider is solid, and they have lived in this cage setup since they were young. I keep them in a climate controlled room with all my other collection, therefore they don't hibernate, but IMO, he's sure acting like he's searching for a mate. Other than the constant moving, he appears healthy. Has anybody else observed this kind of behavior?....Any ideas? [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
