Posted by: luckydog at Tue Feb 2 12:08:32 2010 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by luckydog ] Zack, Still and forever learning here too..You say ovulation or pre ovulation..I don't know as, still learning but I was under the impression that the swell was ovulation,the gathering of follicles to travel the repro tract to be fertilized..Once this has occurred there is normally an increase in the latter half of the animal..The process continues here until the product is ready for delivery..Which depending on environmental factors takes varying amounts of time..Cooler= longer, warmer = shorter and of course whether the eggs were fertilized or not..Variables.
