I have noticed the Clark's complete diet doesn't smell as fruity to me as their original diet which still required regular feeding of insects, so the original diet may be a last alternative as it was designed to be fed along with crickets and is healthier than baby food (lacks all the added sugar babyfood tends to have and has most nutrients needed, minus proteins which why it needs crickets fed as well).
