I have heard from a few breeders that females can tend to be aggressive, to both males and females. I am unsure if this is true; because i keep them singly, but if at all possible, i would set up a larger tank with a mixed group. Plant the tank heavily, with large leafed plants and cork bark. Maybe a 3 female 2 male group would work? Allowing for enough room for separate territories (maybe at least a square foot each) may help the group.

Also, it seems strange but flying geckos will benefit from a UVA/B strip or coil lamp. Although they are nocturnal, they do tend to bask if they are cammoflauged...

And they also tend to enjoy a bit of repashi CGD or something similar....peach or aprocot babyfood works as well, although it may have too much acid in it to use often.

If you are on facebook, there is a group called geckotime on there that posts info, articles, book suggestions, videos, etc on there...they did an article on flying geckos about a month back that was quite informative. You should check them out.

I am just re iterating what i have heard from vendors and breeders..a 1.2 group may work out fine. I guess my personal advice is to try it out...leaving enough space for each to have their own territory and watch for agression. You may need to separate them in time....

I am interested in your efforts...keep us posted!
