You cannot sell them in state or sell them to out-of-state residents. Same goes for most native species of reptiles (RES are considered "naturalized" and YBS are native). So, you can have five eastern painted, and five YBS, and five RES, and five cooters, etc. I believe that wood turtles and terrapins are considered state endangered or threatened, so the private person can't have one.
