You never know what you'll find walking around the neighborhood where that facility is located. And I've been inside for business before and seen how the animals are housed (many animals are in open-topped tubs). In fact, when I caught a gecko running around in the building and handed it back to one of the employees they released it again and said, "eh, we just let those run around and then we can grab one when we need it." I was pretty new to FL at the time so I didn't know the place had such a reputation but it is a very well-known place for this reason (and others) and over the years it is becoming increasingly referred to by people in all aspects of this field. It's just a matter of time until there is a negative consequence affecting hobbyists due to the inappropriate housing of animals at this facility. I'm not saying I know of something specific... just that people talk about this place ALL THE TIME. This might be one place where people (= not the government) can make a difference before it's too late. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
