In my experience some females will do that whenever any other blackhead is in their space male or female and can be a dominance thing. While others it can be a good sign. How are all the other signs? Is he courting/interested or trying to get away? Any green colored spotting from the female? Have they been cycled? Any swelling or lumpiness to the female? Is she still feeding?
