I just commented on this elswhere. My other female that did not produce last year, refused food last week, and has had some mild swelling for a while now. I just looked at her because 1)I was telling D today on the phone that she was looking skinny a couple days ago and I wanted to check her out to see how she was doing today and 2) to look for green spuge on the cage after seeing this and she is swelled up nice!!! I am all stupid smiles and crazy thoughts now!! It would be pretty crazy to me to actually produce with these two years in a row. Even without the "special" ones, this line throws some beautiful reds!! I can't wait to see if she gives me fertile eggs and then I will really go nuts waiting for them to hatch if she does!!
