Why can't we, say Andrew Wyatt of USARK and one or some of you have a press confrence and state the truth and have a question and answer session afterwords? This would go a long way to reduce the public fear, mend our broken fences, and work together to accomplish the same goals TOGETHER. We also could organize a fast response team to identify ANY OTHER reports of non native herps and see if their credible. If so work to eliminate them early on which you guys do NOT have the manpower to do. Also believe it or not many of us are experts in field studies as good or better than your team. We shouldn't be adversaries and I can assure you we didn't start the war but we damn sure aren't backing down either....
