Years ago I did. A very costly surgery I might add. This
particular mali was egg bound. She was a young adult and
large egg bulges were easily seen from most angles of her
torso. Warm soaks with gentle belly massages were tried.
X-rays were taken. A series of calcium/oxytocin injections
were given so as to induce labor/contractions but no eggs
were passed.

The fallopian tube membranes are thin and most delicate
and proved nearly impossible to suture with much success
so a hysterectomy was preformed after the egg removal.

The eggs appeared to be workable and were immediately
incubated but all failed within a week.

The good news after all this is that the female recovered
nicely and quickly. She was now a non productive pet.
I ended up giving her to a nice lady in the mid west who
gave her a great home.

John
