I should let some of my redfoot tortioses go at ocean reef.
A few years ago I saw a cat walking around my yard and late the next day I saw a group or torts in a circle so I went over to look and they were eating it.
I could not believe it and just imagined the cat coming close to a tort and the tort bitting its foot and holding on and the others slowly closing in for the kill like a group of lions killing a zebra except in ultra slow motion. It must have taken hours to "take it down". By the next night it was just bones.
Tortoises the new apex predators!!! LOL
