They are hardy and uncomplicated for the most part. The only difference is that females can't warm up their bodies to incubate eggs like the big pythons can. If you choose maternal incubation, I would use a large nest box with a range of temps for her to choose from. Babies do better when kept more humid than you would think a "desert" species would require. Aside from that... standard python care.
