We can get 4ft out of a Nile if we keep them warm through the winter. They can grow faster than that but thats about the best we have done here.

When we keep them outside we get 2-3 ft per year although I doubt we'll see that this year as we have lost 3 months of growth with this ridiculous winter.

Usually I have fed the Niles quite a few times in Jan/Feb but this year once- yesterday.
