Man, if the "female" cal king was all over the "male" hondo, it REALLY sounds as if the sexes are mixed up here. Seriously, get those snakes properly sexed by someone who knows what they are doing!! Even big name breeders, etc. mess up on sexing animals and it never hurts to double check when you get the chance. Females NEVER approach and try to entice the males to breed in my experience. Its usually the male that slithers over and around the female to get her going. You are possibly going into bad territory that could jeopardize the hondo if its female and bred too young/small!!
