I'd say consider yourself lucky that they'll eat it. I know several people who supplement their frilleds with prepared bearded dragon diet. I wish mine would take it. Anyway, I think the key is that you said "supplement" -- I would never feed it to them as a staple diet but as a supplement or to make sure they have adequate food while you're away, it should be fine.
