Hello,
I have read that these lizards can take a while(years?) to sexually mature. Is this information accurate? If so or not, at what size or age(approx) would a female begin nesting? My lizards are barely 8 inches now but feed to a bloat and seem to be growing rapidly. I am aware that they can triple their current length and am asking for real life experience. I work mainly with turtles, tortoises and monitor lizards and the words used to read that monitors took years to mature- this has been proven inaccurate by experienced keepers... Any information would be valuable and applied to better the lives of these family pets. Best to you and thanks in advance- Mike S
